Moscato, Brachetto, Dolcetto and Barbaresco: four wines for thirteen labels. A multiplication of aromas and tastes, the high quality of the processing expressed through the different methods used by Cascina Fonda.
The kings of wines for the Barbero brothers is Moscato, which is made in six different proposals, it shows their professional skills and know-how, which aims to offer their customers their endless "sweet passion”.
This philosophy is mirrored by the round labels which recall the confectioner’s decorations: sweet wines goes well with sweet food.
Moscato: since 1988 they created the brand Cascina Fonda, proposed through Moscato d’Asti “Bel Piano”, Asti Spumante “Bel Piasì”, Asti Metodo Classico Dolce “Driveri”, Moscato Vendemmia Tardiva, Moscato Spumante “Tardivo”, Piemonte Moscato Passito.
Brachetto: it has been produced since 1998 as Piemonte Brachetto Spumante.
Barbaresco: since 2003 it has been produced only in the best years, after a careful grape selection. It is called Barbaresco “Bertola”.
Dolcetto: together with Moscato it was the first wine to be made in 1988. Its name is Dolcetto “Brusalino”.
Brut Metodo Classico: made from the grapes of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this dry wine joined the range of Cascina Fonda in 2004.
Grappas: three kinds of grappa, i.e. Moscato grappa aged in barrique barrels, Moscato Grappa and Brachetto Grappa.
