A modern design in the name of Moscato

A cellar dedicated to Moscato, planned to celebrate the hills of Mango. Designed by the architect Valerio Demaria,  the cellar consists of modern and functional areas, in which Massimo and Marco Barbero produce different kinds of wine through different wine-making methods, in order to ensure the high quality of the wines by Cascina Fonda.

The building started in the late 90s and ended in 2000, the first harvest was in 2002. Since then the “sweet passion” of Moscato has become the absolute protagonist, enriched by the production of other wines.

The wine-making area has been provided with modern and high-tech devices, which are used especially for the production of Moscato, which requires to be processed at low temperatures. Precision, hygiene and quality are three essential factors according to the work philosophy followed by Cascina Fonda.

The cellar is completed by the storing and the bottling areas.
